C25 Season 3
A Season design changing the common reward structure from Season 1 and 2.
Season designs are primarily smaller and are more geared towards providing a framework and ecosystem for all the programs within the Season to exist in. They house the main Field Pass for the game during the time period it is running, and provides weekly objectives and rewards to keep players engaged in the programs contained within it.
In this season, players would earn Custom Currency through their normal efforts in weekly Objectives, Quests, and the Field Pass instead of being rewarded player items and packs directly. Then, they were able to redeem this currency for items in a special Custom Currency store, allowing players to have more freedom over the rewards they receive and allows for more decision making in terms of saving vs. spending.
In addition, this program including our Heisman tie-in, allowing players to earn a Heisman Token in the Field Pass which would be redeemable for the Heisman Trophy winner once it was awarded in real life.
This custom currency system was the first of its kind in CUT and is still used in programs, including all Season programs, today.
