C25 College Kickoff

Similar to College Kickoff 2025, a program dedicated to the beginning of the CFB season using a tailgate and countdown theme.

This time, College Kickoff was largely ran in pre-season, meaning the content within it was more building up hype and momentum for the real life college football season rather than reacting to its early events.

The program contained a reward scheme using Countdown Lockers, packs which could only be opened once the CFB season began. By using these, players could basically merge, trade up, sell, and try to amass the best combination of packs possible before the big opening event during the Gameday Weekend event.

At the beginning of the program, players would be given an upgradeable player with a very long upgrade path. For each day that they log in before the Gameday Weekend celebration, they’d receive a token to upgrade that player by 1 OVR.

The program contained a normal dosage of content (challenges rehashing the previous year and expectations for the current year of play, a couple of new events celebrating the new season, etc.), but with a twist. On the final weekend of the program, during the first weekend of the CFB season, the Gameday Weekend event would be held in which XP and rewards earned from Events and Challenges was increased, and players had a unique, limited time set of Objectives they could complete to earn a special player, as well as a brand new, Gameday Weekend only head to head event.
