No Politics at the Dinner Table!
No Politics at the Dinner Table! is a multiplayer party card game based around outlandish conspiracy theories. In it, two players will be given two sides of an crazy conspiracy theory and have to argue it out between the two to prove why their side is right and why their opponent is wrong. Is Hillary Clinton a lizard-person or an alien? Are Donald Trump’s kids kidnapped from Russia or are they spies sent by the Japanese? Argue about it! There are no rules in this stage, say whatever you want to prove your case, true or not. Once the time limit is over, the other players in the game will vote on who had the most convincing argument. The winner gets the card. To download the full rules doc, click here.
This game was developed during NEU’s course “Games and Society” in early 2018 and was developed in a group. On it, I was the lead developer as well as the lead rules and card writer.
